I've never heard of #2. Operation could get you frustrated if you're not that good. Candyland is all luck, if you're wanting a game that lets you think a little go with Life.

I would say Candyland. Life is more like a game for someone who likes to play with pretend money and such. Operation is more like a game of concentration, which I play alot.

Candyland is just a game full of fun. So it really depends on what kind of fun you want to have.
