  1. You could make a rubber band propelled car. Or you could keep an egg from cracking when dropped by making a device to catch it in, and thus demonstrate rules of physics and gravity and stuff. Or you could make a really strong bridge out of toothpicks. I realize these are cliche but it's all I could think of.

  2. I was thinking an interesting project would be to study the effects of radiation on growth. You know how they say the radiation from talking on the cell phone a lot gives you brain cancer? Well you could get an old cell phone and put it in the charger to keep it continuously on all day, turning it off at night, and keep it next to a bean seed pot. Watch the seed grow and grow another seed on the other side of the room with the exact same conditions but without the radiation. See how radiation affects life!!!! Don't forget to take a lot of pictures.

I was thinking of doing this for my next science project, because I thought of it myself and I don't think anyone has done it before. Good Luck if you decide to do this one!!!!

  3. A friend of mine did this in high school.  They dropped a meter stick from high in the air and they had their father catch the stick.  He marked off where he caught the stick.  Then he had his father take a shot of vodka.  Twenty minutes later, he dropped the meter stick and his father caught the stick.  He marked off where his father caught the stick after the shot of alcohol.  They continued this process six or seven times.  Eventually, the stick just fell to the ground.  This project displayed the effects of alcohol on reaction time.
