1. No fresh veggies yet. Stick to dried foods. No veggies till about 6 months old because it can cause severe diarrhea. NEVER ever feed your bunny lettuce. Good luck!

  2. A 3 month old rabbit should not be fed any fresh foods. Their digestive systems are not devloped enough to handle them. They can develop mucoid enteritis which leads to diarrhes and jelly like stools. This can lead to death.

Rabbits under 6months old should only be fed a good rabbit pellet and grass hay. Always have fresh unchlorinated and fluoride free water for them.

Veggies and fruits should only be used as an occasional treat (maybe once a week) when the rabbit reaches maturity at 6 months of age.

  3. I agree. 3 month olds should grow into their teeth a little more before they eat really hard foods, like carrots. No lettuce, mainly just don't give iceburg lettuce. Dark leafy greens is what they love, and what 3 month olds can eat. Kale, carrot tops, celery tops, timothy hay, or alfalfa hay, or a mix of both( what I did with a 9 week old rabbit),I don't do spinach though...

    Good Luck!!!

  4. The most important part of a rabbits diet is timothy hay. They also eat pellets and you can feed them greens and carrots. Never feed iceberg lettuce- only dark leafy greens. These are safe: Kale, Green leaf lettuce, Red Leaf Lettuce, radishes. Be careful with greens, too much gives them "wet tail" There are also several treats and other foods at most pet stores, ie Petsmart, Petco.....

  5. why dont you just look it up on google or go to PETCO and ask somebody...

  6. Carrots, lettuce and umm that about all i know.

  7. lettuce

  8. Dark green, leafy vegetables will also be much appreciated by rabbits. Individual rabbits vary in their preferences but vegetables such as cabbage, romaine, escarole, turnip, collard, kale, parsley, thyme, cilantro, dandelion and basil can all be fed. These should be fed in small amounts and introduced slowly as rabbits have delicate digestive systems.

    yep yep does that help?

  9. At three months you can begin to slowly introduce veggies into the diet. One type at a time, and tiny portions. Keep a careful eye on the bunny and make sure that the stool stays consistent and not soft or runny.

Good veggies include dark leafy greens (no iceberg lettuce), parsley, cilantro and wheat grass.
