  2. Nothing. You should do it a few times a day.  

  3. Dragsters do that very thing. That's why they have a heavy duty clutch which is built for racing and have it enclosed in what is called a "scatter shield". Even the heavy duty clutches can and do explode under that stress. Without the scatter shield the drivers compartment becomes filled with flying shrapnel. People have lost legs, gonads and lives when they ignored the need for a scatter shield. Ain't a pretty sight.
