Bearing in mind she has once been trapped, when i adopted her she was so timid and actually hid under floorboards, should i send her to my godmother which is a total new environment for her, where there are two boys who constently make noise, (she could get really scared and hide in any hole or crack she finds) or leave her at home, with my godmother coming to check up on her, feed her, water her, play with her. She'll become lonely and miss us. Which one should i do?

Last year i sent her to my uncles house, but my uncle lives on his own and is an expert in cats. Quite an opposite situation to my godmothers house.

  1. Leave her at home and get someone to look after her. You can also buy a automatic cat feeder. You put food in these two trays, and set times for when you want the cat to be fed. When that time is reached, the lids of the tray open up and it can be fed. I think cats can be left at home anyway, because they will just go outside and hunt for food, so you don't have to worry about them!

  2. Could your godmother stay at your house to look after the cat?  If not, then I think the cat would prefer to stay in its own home, as long as your godmother can devote ample time to its needs.

  3. Get godmother to visit.

  4. it would be better for the cat to be left at home with someone popping in to feed and check on her.  it will be too stressful having to deal with you not being there and being in a new environment.
