WHite Sox fans, do you think Griffey will demand he hit third in the order like he did for the Reds?

And if so, do you think Ozzie Guillen will give in and let him walk all over him like Dusty and the other Reds managers have?! Thanks!

    griffey is just happy to be on a contending team

    he doesnt care what order he is in the lineup

    I think Junior knows his role on the team. He knows he is not going to start everyday on that team and I think he accepts that. Griffey is not someone that would go to the manager and whine about playing time. Not in this stage of his career. He has his 600 home runs. I think he approved this trade because he wants that championship ring and he knows the White Sox have a much better chance than the Reds (Sorry man). He will probably play some DH and OF when there is a tough right hander pitching against the White Sox. Like I said, I don't think he is that distraught over playing time, he just wants a World Series title.

YEAH RIGHT!!!  That'll be the day.  I think the only way that would happen is if Ozzie believes that is the best place to hit him, regardless of what anyone else says.  Ozzie is an in your face F-you type manager who doesn't care what anyone (especially those in the front office) says

  6. Lol no Ozzie won't let him do that. Quentin is gonna be in the 3 hole for a long time.  

  7. No he won't, and Griffey will probably be a 5 hitter. It's a good spot for him because he still has good pop, but he isn't a 3 or 4 anymore.

  9. in my opinion no because i think that ozzie guillen def isnt a manager to get walked on, the guy is like the bill parcels of baseball, and secondly because of bats like thome, dye, and quentin i dont see how he could bat third, now he might bat 3rd a couple times, but i dont see it happening consistently

    edinson volquez rocks!!! he was a really good prospect for my rangers but what can i say we got josh hamilton!lol
