At least we don't wear 10 tonnes of padding so we don't get bruised!!

  1. have to agree wholeheartedly with Molly .. .AND I'd love to see those S****y yanky footballers even attempt to play our fantastic game WITHOUT their padding of course ..  they couldn't fly to take a mark if their life depended on it.

and as for that other no-necked game they play North of the Border.. a Gorilla could play if you taught it.. :P

(incidently I am from a *rubgy-state* originally .. but that Bum-sniffing game just does not cut it)

  2. who gives a f.u.ck THERE BOTH S.H.ITE FOLLOW A REAL SPORT ITS CALLED FOOTBALL!!!! THE WORLD GAME

  3. I don't really care what Americans think of us we know how tough Aussie Rules is that's all that matters.

They wouldn't last the 90 min of pure physical exertion that our footballers endure.

See we could have padding to but real men don't need it they learn to take the knocks while playing as children.

  4. I thought it was Aussie, not Ozzy! And you call your self Australian? You make me question your authenticity!! As I only know so much about Aussie football, I can only say this to you, ask one of your so called "footbal" players to play American football without pads and then ask them how they feel, see if they will criticize our belief in pads!! Obviously if your lot can play without pads and not get hurt then your rules are soft!! Play American football the way it was meant to be played will get you killed, so we pad up to try to make sure we can live another day!!

  5. If they played your p*ssy game against american football players, they'd be beggin for pads.

  6. I haven't heard a Seppo say that.

Aussie rules is far from soft. There are not too many codes around where some players (midfielders) run 10-15 kilometers in 2 hours while at the same time are trying to get the ball then legally disposing of it to a teammate up to 50 metres away while being chased & tackled by the opposition.

  7. you ask a lot questions about Americans

  8. We I am a union man and I think Australian rules is a cats game of scratch and kick. The American football isn't much better at all because they have to wear protective clothing due to the many law suites.
