I've had my fish for 4 days and I havnt seen him eat once? I heard usually Flower Horn Fishes arnt picky eatters? Why havnt he been eatting. I tried pellets and now I tried frozen worms? Am I forced to try some feeder fish? Hes swimmin pretty healthy in his 30 gallon. Hes not that large hes small swims around pretty freely. But then why hasnt he been eatting? how long does it take for my fish to get used to the tank? How long does it take for a fish to die without eatting? Wut other types of food should I try? what should i do?? THANKS

  1. There are a lot of factors that affect's the fishes apetite besides diseases

    1. Stress - Use a stress relieving substance and this might coax the fish to eat

    2. Ph- check out the ph off ur tank it should be around 6.5 to 7.2.

    3. Temperature - Try to get the temperature to be around 26 - 28C

  2. You piqued my interest and I did a bit of research on Flower Horns...They DO like to eat and like to eat all of the time.  So I'm a little concerned for you.

Your tank has to be a minimum of 120gal and they need high temp.

here is a link for you.

  3. HI I AM A FISH EXPERT, YOUR TANK NEEDS TO BE 24-26c, JUST TRY CRUSHED UP TROPICAL FLAKES, IF NOT TRY BLOOD WORM, ALL FISH TAKE DIFFERENT AMMOUNTS OF TIME TO GET USED TO THEIR NEW ENVIORMENT, SO DONT WORRY, PLEASE EMAIL ME TO LET ME KNOW HOW HE GETS ON:
