Question:

WHy is it that peopl who eats in mcdonalds(nonstop, morning-afternoon and evening) get so fat quickly!??

I've seen some programmes at TV and its about little kids who are too fat. (nothing wrong with it) its called "too fat to toddle" and i've noticed that when i was watching it some parents gave there children mcdonald, then i searched at google about ingredients of mcdonalds- and let me tell you it was not pretty, so it did get ugly- and also when i take my dog for a walk (coz my house is very near to mcdonalds) i usually see overweight people scoffing down some really greasy burgers.my question is how do people get so fat quickly by eating mcdonalds?

P.S. i am not being mean to overweight people i just want to make my point. =)

  1. I don't mean to be rude, but this question is kind of silly. First of all, if you eat a lot of junky food and you don't have a fabulous metabolism (because fyi, some blessed folks out there can sit on their tush and eat McDonalds all day and still not gain a pound, lol), you'll logically gain weight. It's just common sense. It's because there is a lot of fat and sugar in the food, and not a lot of fiber, so you don't get full from the food and you immediately want to eat more. It's a whole vicious cycle. Does that answer your question?  


  2. Well, 1st, they try to hook the kids by putting sugar in the burgers...2nd, u ever watch SuperSize Me?  This guy eats McD's EVERY day EVERY meal (or mayb it was just fast food at every meal?) for 30 days while seeing a doctor...it was bad for his health, he gained weight...JUST HORRIBLE!!!

  4. Hun, you answered your own question. Their food is not made with healthy ingredients. Overall, it's really bad for you. Simple as that.

  7. if you eat mcdonalds or ne other fast food restaraunt for all 3 meals every day or even a few days out of the week. the kids arent getting any nutrition and its harder if the kids arent active to burn the calories.

    the calories in the food that they eat is more than they need at their age. all the grease and fat in them also is what hurts them

    but i feel bad for the kids that i see like on the maury show the 3 year olds that are over 100lbs i mean come on. if my daughter were to get that big i would be embarassed of myself because im the one thats supposed to keep her healthy. and i wasn't doing my job of being the parent

  8. it is composed of fat, cholesterol, and carbs that have been stripped of their nutritional value.  It is basically a chemically altered version of what they feed cows in order to make them gain hundreds of pounds within weeks so they can be fatty and killed, to ahem, be sold for those burgers.  The fries are frozen and then deep fried in oil that is flavored with beef fat.  While this may be tasty to people, there is little nutritional value.  Combine this with a lack of fiber and no exercise, and you have an obesity epidemic.  Go watch "Supersize Me"
