I need braces very badly and i don't think i qualify right now with Tricare because we're moving soon. Anyway, best description without a picture i can give is that all tops of my teeth are allign, but my fangs sit MUCH higher then the rest do and stick out further. Because thier so high up i'm worried that they'll get pulled out :( And i was wondering if it sounds like they would have to be.

  1. Maybe try a retainer.. it might help pull them back in but I don't think much can be done to pull them down without doing something to the roots.

  2. braces should work just fine.

  3. hmm... yes I would say that your "eye teeth" (this is the correct word for fangs) will need to be pulled out. But no worries it won't hurt that much because i'm sure they'll numb it. But once you get your braces you'll have a beautiful smile! :)

  4. braces will fix that without pulling your teeth out..it will just pull it down little by little until its in its place...thrust me, your roots are very long and strong, and your teeth will be fine

  5. No way! I didn't think anybody else had the same problem. I had the exact same thing happen to me!! But, yeah, it will. I just got braces a few months ago, & can already see they're already starting to come down. So, to answer your question, yes! :)
