  1. No.  The men's game is a lot more physical than the women's game.  It's seriously very similar to asking if the best minor league teams could beat the worst major league teams in a lot of sports.  The women's teams aren't used to the men's games, and they really wouldn't have a chance.

  2. It would not be surprising if they could. China has traditionally valued intelligence over athleticism or any other talent. With 1.3 billion people, it's quite surprising there aren't more actors, athletes, or musicians. The value of intelligence in China dates far back into history, probably as far back as anyone can think of. Success in China has always been based on brainpower. Hence we saw that when the Mongols under Genghis Khan, who valued military skill over intelligence invaded, the Chinese army was basically a pushover back then. It is also notable that the Khans actually adopted some of the values of the Chinese while they ruled China. Recently, the situation has changed a bit with people selecting mates more on looks and non-academic talent now. However, it is still very difficult for someone without good test scores to be successful in China regardless of how good they are at soccer or any other sport.

As a hypothetical example: A student in high school realizes he is good at soccer and possesses an interest in developing this talent so that he or she can compete on an international level. However, he has to put his studies first because there is always an uncertainty that he or she will not succeed at playing soccer for a living. If he or she decides to play soccer for a living then fails, he ends up on the street. China is not exactly the model land of opportunity like the US. You don't get many second chances. Competition is fierce and there are few ways to take up another career if you abandon your first.

It's not that there is no talent. It's just that it cannot be developed due to Chinese traditional perceptions that all things are secondary to intellectual ability.

  3. Hey man is it really that bad...

Your bragging about women's soccer, you really are desperate.

  4. yes they would.. and the men's team would be charge for outrage of modesty..
