  1. Assuming you’re not married and you live in the US... both you and Dad would have to sign a voluntary acknowledgment of paternity / declaration of paternity / whatever it’s called in your state.  It usually has to be either notarized or witnessed.  When the child is born, the hospital will be able to provide you with the form.  Both of you need to be aware that signing this makes him the legal father with all the rights and obligations that go along with that.


  2. well is he a new born cuz when i had my baby they just gave me sum papers for me n the father 2 sign and like the name,social things like that n were 2 pick it up n i think if u want 2 change sumthing u have 2 pay for it n go sumwhere so they can fix it
