So it was confirmed that the BIG FOOT that was found last week was nothing more than a costume and now the two that perpetrated the hoax are no where to be found... I will ask this again do you think they should do jail time for committing a fraud and wasting the medias time??? One organization is taking legal action. So what do you think?

No smart butt answers PLEASE

  1. Wasting the medias time? Get over it - the media can learn not to chase and over sensationalise stories and should be sued for filling our screns with such rot.

Why is the first reaction of everyone to sue? Losers!

It was a practical joke obviously - they used to be funny and people would laugh and get on with their lives. Since when has everyone become such a bunch of sooks?

  2. While I agree with you that this sort of thing can be infuriating for any number of reasons, and it's not funny, I don't think this qualifies as criminal fraud. If they had sold the frozen rubber suit to someone they would be guilty of fraud in a criminal sense, but they didn't. They did profit by selling T-shirts and what not, but since any reasonable person knew it was a put-on, it's going to be hard to prove damages.

In a free society jerks can do some really annoying things, it's a price we pay for freedom and frankly it's a small price.

  3. Yes, they need to go to jail. Conviction: terrorism.

  4. I do think it is funny that so many people fell for that one, how long is it going to be that people learn that there is no big foot..  if there was a big foot or any other monster why is it that no one has found any skeleton from one of them or even a couple of bones?
