WOW! How many people don't know what the following words actually mean?

As an Archetypal Polytheist, I would hope that I knew the distinctions between the three.

Agnostic means one hasn't decided for themselves whether they believe in Gd, and a theist, at least by definition, is one who DOES believe in Gd, though I'm not sure people are using it correctly.

Monoelohiymism is the issue. Polyelohiymism is correct. If it weren't possible and a bad idea to worship other gods why have a command against doing something impossible?!

Neither a label, title, name, its history, number of followers or the amount of time it existed means anything in & of itself. Is whats behind it, its beliefs & practices that make it legitimate or a lie.

Having said that:

1. Doesnt know who God is,

2. May or may not know who God is (dependant on whether they know Jesus personally & not something someone made up along the way),

3. Hopes there is no God.

However, whoever seeks Jesus Christ with all his heart & soul will find Him (u shall know the truth & it will set u free). But u can lead a horse 2 water but u cant make them drink. Why should God want u 2 live with Him forever if u dont want 2 know Him (reason 4 free will - Jn 1:12-13)? The truth of God remains forever while things of a man dies with him, including his religions & gods made in his image. Theres everlasting hope only in Jesus Christ.

Polytheist- One who believes in a plurality of gods.

Monotheist- A believer in one god.

Atheist- Someone who denies the existence of god
