How can people still ignore this? The Antarctic shelf predicted to separate in 25 years is already doing so now. It's hard to believe a change of a few degrees which must be turned around NOW could be the demise of this planet. We would all have to live at the north pole and imagine 8 billion people fighting for territory or living in "Waterworld"...not so far fetched anymore is it?

  1. look in your Bible that was only a movie, i remember when mad max was about fighting over gas  dont worry GOD is in control he is a GOD of order .and pray that doesnt happen, the world was already destroyed by water, and HE said He would not do that again

  2. don't you mean Kevin Costner?  and yes it could be but not in our lifetime.

  3. never happen very far fetched.

  4. Not Mel Gibson maybe Kevin Costner and yes it is still far fetched

  5. No

  6. was Costner

but the answer is nope. Even if ALL the freshwater ice melted (sea ice makes no difference because it displaces sea water in proportion to it's frozen mass) the oceans would rise about 60 meters. This would swallow up a lot of real estate, but wouldn't leave people running all over the planet looking for a little scrap of dry land. Not unless they were as stupid as the people that bankrolled that stinking boondoggle of a film and couldn't navigate worth a roasted f**t.

  7. when i ce melts it shrinks back ,. that is why if floats to show people how much it ghas grown scince it has trapped air,., why do thing bust when thye freeze,. same proncipalc,., people arent suppose to study things,. just to show us they dont have anything bette rtyhey can do

  8. the decision to save earth relies on the people, not the government. people have to change if they want to keep living on this planet. companies have to stop being greedy and conserve energy, or switch to cleaner fuels. we have the technology but i don't think we have the will to make such a big change.

  9. The Antarctic shelf? I hope you don't think this "Shelf" is all of Antarctica. Antarctica is a continent that is covered in ice that is as much as 6 MILES thick.

Where are you getting this weird information?

Again, if you would do your own research, you will learn the scientists that are actually there studying Antarctica are telling us it is actually getting colder.

  10. No way.  Dennis Hopper will be dead.
