WR Chad Ochocinco finds Miami Dolphins right fit for pro career growth– NFL News
Wide receiver, Chad Ochocinco, has found everything as right fit for him at the Miami Dolphins and aims to make most of the opportunity in the longer run.
Some commentators say it will be a surprise if Chad is able to play another season in the league, but the player does not agree with them and claims he will play the pro league until he turns 40.
At the moment, he is 34 and does not see the age as an impediment to prolong his career up to the aforementioned ambitious target of 40 years.
He said:
"I'm going to play 'til I'm 40 years old, and this year I'm going to show the world I can."
It did not surprise anyone in the league given the player is always out with attention-seeking remarks and startling disclosures.
He recently tweeted to refer National Football League (NFL) commissioner, Roger Goodell, as dad, warning the official that he will be a lot of trouble for him this season.
About the ambitions of prolonging his career, he said the Dolphins are the right team for him to fulfil his dreams of playing longer. He particularly finds himself adjusting well in the team’s offence.
He said:
"The Dolphins are the right team, the right offense. I'm at the good place in my life. Everything fits perfectly for me."
Irrespective of the tall claims, pundits say it is too early for Chad to boast about his prospective success in Miami. In reality, they have not given any serious weight to his views given it is nothing new for the player to speak of plans,
which he even himself is not sure of.
His stint with the New England Patriots was full of such outbursts but as a matter of fact, he has remained year-to-year in his career, knowing nothing or sure of what is awaiting him the next season.
Recently, he spoke about his brief stay in New England saying:
"I ate every bit of that humble pie. I believe it made me a better man, a better player."
While he is yet to prove how much he has improved in his game, Chad is lucky in a sense that he is able to sign with Dolphins within four days of his waiver by Patriots.
