WR Percy Harvin not happy with Minnesota Vikings, doesn't specify issue bothering him - NFL News
Minnesota Vikings are preparing for the start of the new season and looking to move forward from last year’s disappointing campaign.
However, there may be a problem with those plans as one of the team’s key players on offence is not too happy these days.
Wide receiver, Percy Harvin is the best receiver on the Vikings roster and being one of their most versatile players will have some big responsibilities on his shoulder next season as he will be counted upon to make big plays.
The receiver though is not too happy with the franchise and wants things to be sorted out before the Vikings begin their training camp in July.
Speaking to reporters at the end of practice on Tuesday he said.
"I just put it this way, there's a lot of different things that have to be sorted out. Just haven't been really happy lately. We've got a couple of things to work on. I'm here in the classroom. We'll go from there."
He wouldn’t explain his comment further to reporters and did not mention the specific issues that have been bothering him with the Vikings.
"We've got a lot of time between then, hopefully a lot of conversations. It's just a couple different issues. It's hard to try to tell you guys without telling you guys. I just keep it as that."
It’s difficult to see what could be bothering the receiver during the offseason.
His rookie contract still has two years to run and his responsibilities in the new season will increase further meaning he will get more time during games so guessing a specific issue with the franchise bothering the receiver is difficult.
Head coach, Leslie Frazier, also talked to reporters and said that any problem Harvin has with the franchise will be discussed and taken care off soon enough and he is not at all alarmed at his receiver’s public revelation.
"It's not something that can't be handled and not something we can't talk through. Not alarmed. Not alarmed at all."
The Vikings should resolve quickly any issues Harvin has with the team since he will be an important part of the franchise next season and the franchise is counting on him to have a big year in 2012-13.
