I recently upgraded my router to a linksys WRT160N. I went through the wizard and configured the router and I can connect to the router wirelessly but I am not able to access the internet, even the main computer is unable to identify the internet. I am only given local area connection. If I unplug the internet cable and plug the internet directly into my desktop or any other device I can access the internet just fine. i do need the wireless for my daughters laptop for school so i can use the desktop for work. any help is greatly appreciated.

  1. When you turn on your computer you will see a notification 'wireless network found' right click on the icon and select 'connect to a network or show all wireless networks, highlight your router and click connect
