Question:

WSB Wildcards?

Do any of the wildcards other than Tom Sykes stand any chance of achieving anything at Brands, am I alone in being slightly disappointed by the list, (taking nothing away from the guys that are doing it), hoping that we would see a return to the BSB frontrunners mixing it with the WSB regulars.

Or is it that BSB has become such big buisness and the costs so excessive that it is no longer attractive to the big teams, that said with rumours of teams looking to step up to WSB next year would it not be a good yardstick for both teams and riders.

  1. Hi Richard G. I was just reading the Shakey thing about him not competing and disagreeing with whether or not he could be competitive. I think its down to the race specs. By the time all the alterations had been made to allow him to race, they would have no Data to start from. and very little time to get any realistic settings. On a bike they don't know how it will handle,  track knowledge is taken down a step. so i suppose realistically any of the BSB guys, inc T.S will be fighting an uphill battle. I don't expect any real upsets from the WSBK squad.  So I don't think its so much running costs as opposed to the cost of running one race. in terms of bike changes.
