it wasnt an eephus pitch he just kinda threw everyone for a loop and lobbed one in. and eephus is a kind of pitch where the pitcher throws a ball with full force and it moves very slowly

what he did was just lob a ball into fred lewis. his motion showed that he didnt try to throw an actual pitch but he just tossed the ball

That wasn't an eephus pitch but it was great to watch Randy lobbing the ball into the strike zone. An eephus pitch is a pitch that is thrown high then falls into the strike zone.
