WTF is wrong with my charger?!!?

Sorry for the language but my laptop charger is annoying me, when ever I put it in it wont charge and then it either charges for a second and gets hot and then will start flashing on and off.

Does anyone know what is wrong with it.

is it a mac? there is a common problem with their chargers - I had the same thing. Take it to an apple store and they will sort it for you

Remove your laptop battery, attach your laptop charger, would your laptop power up, and stay on?

If yes, it is your laptop battery which wouldn't accept charge. Look for a replacement battery, or specialty store which could replace em' battery cells.

If no, look for a new laptop charger

every charger has a converter and resistors sometimes even a fuse

if any of these are busted your charger is gone

you can buy a new one for under 30 dollars

I'm not sure, but all my cellphone chargers do that, I've been through 6.

I'd say just get a new one.

it might just be your laptop or it could be your charger. Call your laptop company and ask them yourself. =) hope i helped. but you probably might not be too happy with this answer though. And im sorry if your not.
