Why do Aquarius girls/women put up this shield whenever you try to get close to them?! :O Why do they come off as unemotional, "cool", and detached?! :O I NEED ANSWERS! :O

Most stuff you read in Astrology about the sun sign Aquarius does mention that they sometimes come off as unemotional and detached. I don't think all of them are this way, but I think this is the impression some of them give. They are emotional but just don't always show it.
