  1. I don't honestly think that is possible - if you own something - car, home, business - get married - all those records are public - anything you file in the courts is also public record. sorry

  2. The only way to "hide" them is to never buy or sell a house, never get a landline phone, never apply for anything over the internet where mail lists can be sold, never subscribe to a mail list, never get a professional license, etc.

The easiest way to protect that information from making it into the public records is to use a post-office box to receive your mail and your work phone whenever you MUST provide a phone number. The records that are already out there can't be removed because they are public record. But you can prevent it from continuing by not using that address or phone number for anything else.

Owning real estate never gives you protection from having your address put in the public domain. It's on record with the Recorder's office, Assessor's office and Treasurer's office...and anyone can go online and pull that information (usually for free) from their public access internet sites.

BTW, if you have student loans you need to pay them off ASAP. Info from GSLs is not protected by the same privacy laws. You tapped into a federal program and personal details about you only have limited protection as long as the loans are open.

  3. Maybe this question would do better over in the law section.

We research dead people here and they generally don't have addresses and phone numbers.

  4. you need to either look it up on the internet and try and do it yourself or talk to a lawyer
