WWE: Evan Bourne vs. The Miz on RAW
The arrogance of The Miz has gone beyond all levels. He has decimated many wrestlers and rookies on RAW and NXT respectively. He is not only the current United States Champion but also the winner of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Wrestling pundits fear that The Miz will cash in his money in the bank contract at Summer Slam against the winner of Randy Orton vs. Sheamus match and will become the new WWE Champion. If Miz successfully cashes in his contract then he will become the first person to become the United States Champion and the WWE Champion at the same time. Too much power at the same time for The Miz will surely corrupt him and will bring a new dimension in WWE.
It was announced on last Monday Night RAW that Miz would face off against Evan Bourne in a one on one singles wrestling match. Evan Bourne has established his reputation as a high flying fierce warrior on RAW. All those wrestling pundits who were initially sceptical of Evan’s fighting abilities are now praising him for his determination and bravery. Evan Bourne was the last survivor from Monday Night RAW team, when it faced Nexus in a 7 on 7 mega tag team elimination match. However, the match with The Miz was an uphill task for Evan, as Miz is not an ordinary wrestler and has established a reputation of ruthless aggression.
Both wrestlers squared off against each other and waited for the sound of the ring bell. There was raw energy and determination from both sides. The crowd was overwhelmingly titled on the side of Evan, and was booing the current United States Champion. The match started as Evan Bourne started delivering fast kicks to Miz’s legs. The Miz was caught off guard by the attack but he replied really fast when he delivered a big boot to Evan’s face. Miz then went on a vicious rampage and started delivering hard core punches to Evan Bourne’s face.
The Miz then executed a vicious attack when he ran in the ring, jumped in the air and landed on Evan’s neck. That was too much pain for Evan Bourne, as he kept lying on the ring floor in a motionless state. Miz tried to take advantage of the situation and went for the cover but Evan Bourne kicked out before the referee’s final count of three. Evan then shifted the momentum of the match by jumping in the air and by delivering kicks to Miz’s abdomen. Evan then impressed the fans as he jumped in the air and sat on Miz’s shoulders.
That was followed by a jerk and there was Miz rolling in the air and slamming his own body on the ring floor. Evan Bourne went for the cover but Miz kicked out before the referee’s final count of three. Just when things were finally going in Evan’s favour, The Miz turned the situation upside down, when he ran in the ring and delivered a hard close line. The close line knocked down Evan Bourne and created a huge impact. Miz was now in total command of the match and he had the opportunity to finish the match right there and then.
Then when all was said and done, The Miz grabbed Evan Bourne and delivered the Skull Crushing Finale. That was it as Evan felt his face kissing the ring floor with a huge bang. Miz went for the cover as the referee counted to three with both of Evan’s shoulders touching the ring floor. After the win, Miz told the wrestling fans that he does not really care if it is Sheamus or Randy Orton, who wins the match at Summer Slam. He further said that he will be ready to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and will become the next WWE Champion.
