WWE/F Hall of Fame-Who should get in?

If you never wrestled for the WWE/F, should you be able to get into the WWE/F Hall of Fame?

If you never really made an impact in WWE/F, but had a great career outside of WWE/F, but because WWE/F owns your rights to your old footage, should you be able to get in?

Should all former World Champions from WWE/F, even if you were a "transistional champion" get into the Hall of Fame automatically? I am not refering to the ECW title, cause it has lost a lot of luster since its return.

My opinion is that if you never worked for WWE/F, then you shouldnt get in unless you had a GREAT career and did something fantastic for the business of wrestling. Nikita Koloff and Magnum TA were awesome to watch, but were not great, so I wouldn't put them in. Bill Watts and the Von Erichs should be in because they contributed alot to pro wrestling.

Even though Arn and Tully were not spectacular in the WWF/E, even with their one title reigns, they did more outside so I would put them in.

  1. idk

  2. BOW DOWN TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!

    I AM THE MASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALL OF MY FOLLOWERS HELPED ME THROUGH AND I AM BACK!!!!!

  3. Here are my pics:

Chyna- Seriously, Chyna was the first woman to win the Intercontinental Championship and participate in the Royal Rumble. Her feuds with Jeff Jarrett and Y2J were great. I loved the whole "Latino Heat."

Howard Finkel - Who in the industry can "Out Think the Fink" (pun intended) he is like the WWE encyclopedia. He is also WWE's longest serving employee. Thats in a league of itself.

Trish Stratus- She won the WWE Women's Championship 7 times. She had the most reigns as Women's Champion.

Crash Holly - The 20+ time Hardcore Champion entertained millions by placing that championship on the line with 24/7 rules. Any person who watched WWF during that time knew how entertaining he was.

WCW/ECW - These two promotions help shape the way the WWE is today. These programs featured superstars like Booker T, Tazz, and others.

Eric Bischoff- The man who played a big part in the Monday Night Wars definitely needs a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. WCW Nitro beat Raw 82 weeks in a row. What other show can say that?

Stone Cold Steve Austin- Austin 3:16 just whooped your ***. The foul mouth, beer drinking, stunner producing machine has already wrote his ticket to the hall of fame.

The Rock- The Peoples Champions entertained millions and millions of his fans when he was in the WWE. His classic matches with Stone Cold at Wrestlemania

TNA- Why do I say this? I say it because it was the only promotion that came after WWE became the dominant company in North America. They innovated wrestling with an 6 sided ring. They turned former WWE mid-carders into TNA main event superstars (Christian Cage, Tomko, etc.)

The WWE HOF should be changed into the Wrestling HOF.

  4. That's the way it works already. Verne Gagne, for example, is in the HOF. No, I don't think it's fair for WWE midcarders and celebrities to be in the HOF and then say only the most iconic figures in wrestling can go in. No, being a one-time champion in any sport does not automatically make you a Hall-of-Famer.

It's irrelevant, anyway, as only people in Vince's good books will ever go into his farcical Hall of Fame.

  5. "If you never wrestled for the WWE/F, should you be able to get into the WWE/F Hall of Fame?"

I say yes. I feel like a Hall of Fame, no matter the sport (or otherwise, for that matter, but I will stick with sport) is for anybody that made a lasting effect on that sport. And you dont necessarily have to play it to make an impact. Just off the top of my head, if you are a great announcer, referee, administrator, founder, that type of thing, you should be, as long as you were a big part of the sport. Sure, it is easier to make an impact on what you do if you are actually down there doing it, but you can't start excluding people just because they didn't play it. Just thinking about some of the guys in the Hall of Fame right now, what would it be like without Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler? So, yeah, it should be judged harder, but they shouldn't be excluded just because they didn't wrestle.

"If you never really made an impact in WWE/F, but had a great career outside of WWE/F, but because WWE/F owns your rights to your old footage, should you be able to get in?"

This goes back to my first statement.... the Hall of Fame is for people who made an impact. If, as you said, they didn't make an impact, what the h**l are they in there for? Absolutely not. I would rather have a guy that I liked that was in the WWE, but may have not been as good, but still made an impact in the Hall of Fame, rather than a guy that was great for another company, but not the WWE. That would be like making Jerry Rice an MLB Hall of Famer. Sure, nice gesture, but what does that prove?

"Should all former World Champions from WWE/F, even if you were a "transistional champion" get into the Hall of Fame automatically? I am not refering to the ECW title, cause it has lost a lot of luster since its return."

This is the easiest one for me to answer.... absolutely not! What kind of question is that? Just because you become a champion, it doesn't mean that you made an impact on anybody. Looking over the list of the World Heavyweight Champions, I see guys like CM Punk, the Great Khali, Edge, Kurt Angle, and Booker T. They are all great wrestlers, but certainly not Hall of Fame material. Maybe someday, they will be, but they shouldn't get in just because they won a championship. There is more to making an impact than that. Also, there would be a lot of loopholes in there. What if a guy just won a championship for a couple days? Maybe a month tops? You look at a guy like Edge who lost his championship not even a month after getting it. That does not count as a Hall of Famer.

Maybe I am just being strict here, but I see the Hall of Fame as a sacred place for legends. We need to weed the good and popular from the legends. And that is one tough job to do.

  6. Well...that's up to Vince, but it would be cool if he acknowledged the past accomplishments of all wrestlers regardless of past organizations.

Wait a minute...I just remembered...they inducted William 'The Refrigerator'  Perry to the WWE Hall of Fame a few years ago...and he isn't even a wrestler.  I think Cena did it...
