He is known as the best there was and the best there will be. The name of the legendary Bret “The Hit Man” Hart needs no introduction in the world of professional wrestling as people still feel pride when they wear T – shirts with Bret “The Hit Man” Hart’s logo on it. Bret “The Hit Man” Hart is regarded as one of the wrestlers who revolutionized the landscape of professional wrestling. He is regarded as one of the best technical wrestlers of all time who preferred using technique over brute force and raw power.

The famous submission move called the “Sharpshooter” which another legendary wrestler “The Rock” applied during his storied career was refined and made famous by Bret “The Hit Man” Hart. There are few wrestlers in the history of professional wrestling, who ever escaped from the dreaded “Sharpshooter”. The career of this great legendary wrestler will also be remembered for new and innovative wrestling moves in the ring. Bret “The Hit Man” Hart modified the figure four leg lock of Ric Flair and invented his own ring post figure four leg lock which always resulted in the screams of his opponent wrestler.

Bret “The Hit Man” Hart was trained in one of the most famous wrestling schools of the world, the Stu Hart Dungeon in Canada. This was the place where Stu Hart trained his son, Bret “The Hit Man” Hart and his other brothers for a wrestling career. Here Stu Hart placed emphasis on technique over brute strength. It was the Stu Hart’s dungeon where Bret “The Hit Man” Hart refined his famous submission manoeuvres and then applied them to other world wrestlers. This dungeon produced many other famous wrestlers like Owen Hart and the first undisputed champion of the wrestling world, Chris Jericho.

Bret “The Hit Man” Hart bumped into the wrestling world with Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart as a tag team in 1980s. Bret “The Hit Man” Hart combined his cerebral approach to wrestling with the brute power of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart and created an effective combination of skill and power. Bret “The Hit Man” Hart and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart named their tag team as the famous Hart foundation. Today the current world tad team champions, the Hart Dynasty are impressed with the legendary Bret “The Hit Man” Hart.

It was January 26, 1987 when the Hart Foundation got their first title shot for the World Tag Team Championships against the famous World Tag Team champions, the British Bulldogs. Bret “The Hit Man” Hart and his tag team partner defeated their opponent with the famous wrestling finisher called the “Hart Attack”. That was the day when the pundits of the wrestling world realized that there is fire burning inside the apparently calm and composed Bret “The Hit Man” Hart who will stop at nothing to win the WWE championship in his career.

That was the point when the Hart Foundation started its ascendancy to the very top of WWF. The Hart foundation fought and defeated the likes of Strike Force, Demolition and Nasty Boys. The Hart foundation enjoy two lengthy title reigns as the World Tag Team champions in four years.

The singles career of Bret “The Hit Man” Hart took its flight when he fought and defeated Mr. Perfect in August 1991 to win the Inter Continental Championship. But the composed and self assured Bret “The Hit Man” Hart suddenly turned into a cocky wrestler and boasted about his wins. His careless behaviour for that brief period of time cost him to lose the prestigious Inter Continental Championship against Mountie in 1992.

Those who thought for a moment that the career of Bret “The Hit Man” Hart was over were wrong. This young wrestler was bound to achieve success and the world will remember him as the legendary Bret “The Hit Man” Hart.
