WWE NXT Season Five report–Jacob Novak eliminated
The eleventh event of WWE NXT Season Five took place at Corpus Christi, Texas on May 17. Jacob Novak became the first NXT rookie out of six who was eliminated from NXT Season Five.
The NXT show started with Darren Young in the ring. Darren had already defeated Titus O’Neil in the last week’s NXT event. Moreover, Darren was continually assaulting Titus’ pro Hornswoggle. It caused another fight for between Titus and Darren in the show.
While Titus was near to victory, Darren’s pro Chavo Guerrero confronted. Darren not even won the match, but he injured Titus’ pro Hornswoggle also with the help of Chavo. Darren was the only rookie, who could defeat Titus two times.
The second fight took place between Yoshi Tatsu and his rookie Byron Saxton. Yoshi defeated Saxton after hitting his finishing move 'Flying Spinning Wheel Kick' and pinning for three counts.
After the second match, the host of NXT, Matt Striker and his co-host Maryse announced that there would be the first elimination of season five at the end of the show. Striker said that Vladimir Kozlov and JTG were involved in a bet named “which pro has
moulded their rookie in his own image the best”. JTG came out with his rookie Jacob Novak, while Kozlov came out with his rookie, Conor O’Brian. Kozlov and Conor won the bet that made JTG angry.
JTG slapped on Kozlov’s face that fired up Kozlov. A match decided between Kozlov and JTG. Although Novak interrupted in the match, but Kozlov won after hitting Curtain Uranage for three counts. The crowd applauded him with huge pop on his victory.
It was the time for the elimination of first rookie of the NXT season five. Striker and Maryse called out all the NXT rookies. It was Jacob Novak who was going to be eliminated from NXT. Novak gave his comments that it was the second time that crowd heaved
him but he would be in the WWE one day. The show ended with that elimination. The following are the redemption points after the eleventh week of NXT.
Titus O’Neil has a total 19 redemption points with six wins and two losses. Darren Young have seven points with four wins and seven losses. Jacob Novak has six with four victories and seven losses while Byron Saxton has two victories and six losses with
four points. Lucky Canon and Conor O’Brian have zero redemption points.
