WWE New PG rating good idea?

I think this idea is sort of dumb. The thing that made wrestling so popular was it's edginess in the late 90's. But let's think for a moment. What made ECW so popular when it came out in the early 90's? The fact it was gorey, edgy, and completely different from WWE. At that time WWE was very much like it is now, PG rated. So, this could be ECW's time to shine. Let Smackdown and Raw be the "kiddie" shows for all the parents out there who complain. Make ECW the hardcore, bloody wrestling we used to love again. Give them the hardcore title, and watch the ratings pour in. This gives ECW something Smackdown and Raw no longer has, blood. If Vince was smart, he'd make ECW the hardcore bloodfest it used to be once more, and leave Raw and Smackdown for the kids. What do you think of my idea?

i would love that if they made ECW gorey and edgy once again. Also i think the new PG rating is going to kill both smackdown and raw.

your right the TV shows should be geared for up to 14 years of age and all PPV be up to NC 17 that way fans gets to see what really going on behind the story lines and all.

good idea but i would not call raw and smackdown kiddie and you can blame john cena for bringing in all of the little kids

P.S:If WWE & ECW doesn't show blood,it will be changed to:World Kiddie Entertainment and ECW to:Extremely Kiddie Wrestling and they will lose to TNA!

For the first few months it will be a very good thing and a huge monkey maker but in the long run parents will stop their kids from watching the wwe when they find out it will be too expensive to keep buying every bit of merchandise for their kids of their favorate wrestler.

I mean take John Cena for example, He has out a lot of merchandise and has new shirts made about once every month and kids get their parents to buy it, But at the end of the day will parents pay over $35 every month for a shrit that will soon be replaced by another.

Who will buy the wwe PPVs ?

Kids don't buy PPV, Adults do

Kid's aren't exactly really interested in the wwe, Just their favorate wrestler.

This is a big mistake really by the wwe, I mean what will happen when the real wrestling fans (Over 14s) decide the wwe has become too childish, They won't buy the PPV, They won't attend events.

its dumb..a lot of viewership is from guys 20+ but Vince wants to appeal to kids because they buy the merchandise..the hardcore title should already be on ecw but to be honest im surprised its lasted this long..they had it going for awhile with the feud the ecw originals vs the new breed..they should push younger talent like Elijah Burke..
