WWE Power 25 – R-Truth on the top of the 25 WWE Superstars: Part 1
The Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science unveiled the Power 25 list for the week of June 11 to June 18. The former number one contender, R-Truth, is enjoying the top place from the previous week. The position was given to him due to victory over The WWE
Champion, John Cena.
The AWAS updated the rankings focusing on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown of the previous week. The wrestler’s overall in-ring dominance, momentum, the strength of the rival and nature of the match were the basic units of ranking calculations.
The former number one contender, R-Truth confronted the match between John Cena and CM Punk last week during Monday Night Raw on June 13 and cost Cena the match. Moreover R-Truth faced his old rival, John Morrison that ended in no contest. The both contest
caused for Truth to retain his top place in WWE’s Power 25 list.
The number one contender for World Heavyweight Championship, Christian, amazingly jumped upward to second position from fifth. Last Friday, Christian was put into the fight against Sheamus on June 17. It was also announced that Sheamus will also be involved
in the World Championship match at 'Capitol Punishment' that which will be played between Christian and the World Champion, Randy Orton. The controversial Christian captured a huge victory over the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, that took him on the second of the
Power 25 list. Christian lost the World Heavyweight Championship match on June 19. So, he will fall from his second position again in the next week’s ranking as the ranking for that match has not been updated.
The World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton can retain the previous third place in the current rankings. In Last week’s Friday Night SmackDown, The Viper was not put into any fight, but he was made the announce-table's team-member during Christian Vs Sheamus
match. When Christian won the match, The Viper found Sheamus in the position to be punted. The Viper got worst and heavily punted the skull of Sheamus that caused serious neck injury to Sheamus.
The WWE Champion, John Cena, shockingly got down in the ranking from second to fourth. He lost his non-title match to CM Punk, after the confrontation with R-Truth in the fight during Monday Night Raw on June 13. He was abused and assaulted by R-Truth in
the Raw segment.
The Mexican Masked Marvell, Sin Cara who is still having undefeated record in his WWE Career, could not retain his fourth position in the Power 25 list. During June 13th addition of Monday Night Raw, Sin Cara teamed up with Ezekiel Jackson and
Daniel Bryan and defeated the former Intercontinental Champion, Wade Barrett with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase.
