The United States Champion, Kofi Kingston, stepped up to a high level by jumping from eighth to sixth place in the Power 25 list of June 11-18 week. The United States Champion was put into a title-match fight against Dolph Ziggler at Capitol Punishment.
Five days before WWE pay-per-view event, Capitol Punishment, The United States Champion was set for a tag-team fight against Jack Swagger and Ziggler. Evan Bourne was also accompanying the United States Champion. Bourne and Kingston amused WWE Universe with
a great tag-team victory over Ziggler and Swagger. The powerful victory caused a powerful jump in the ranking of The United States Champion.
The new Intercontinental Champion, Ezekiel Jackson was also showing his tremendous power during Friday Night SmackDown editions. The SmackDown’s resident powerhouse defeated his rival and former IC Champion, Wade Barrett, and his tag-team partners, Cody
Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, during Friday Night SmackDown on June 17. Jackson was accompanied by two famed superstars, Sin Cara and Daniel Bryan. Jackson got the seventh position in the Power 25 list due to that victory, while he was at the ninth spot last week.
The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus appeared in both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown editions. On June 13, the Irish superstar beat Santino Marella during Monday Night Raw. But on June 17, The Celtic Warrior lost his number one contender fight to Christian
during Friday Night SmackDown. Not even he lost his match, but he was also punted by The Viper, Randy Orton, in his skull. The Irish superstar got a serious neck injury and he fell from his sixth position to eighth.
The Master of 619, Rey Mysterio once again found himself against his old rival at Capitol Punishment. On Monday Night Raw, Mysterio was put into the fight against SmackDown Superstar, Christian on June 13. The Ultimate Underdog, Mysterio, won the match by
disqualification as The Viper, Randy Orton confronted in the match. The Viper took Christian backstage, while The New Nexus members and their leader, Punk attacked Mysterio. It caused a fight against Punk for Capitol Punishment. The Master of 619 also lost
his seventh place in the Power 25 list and was ranked ninth in WWE Rankings.
The new rising star among WWE Universe, Alex Riley, entered in the Top 10 list of Power 25 as the number tenth seed. Riley was made the special guest referee in the fight of his rival, The Miz against Roddy Piper. Riley took the benefit for his referee’s
post and cost the match to Miz. Riley was announced in a 'Capitol Punishment' match against The Miz by the Acting Raw General Manager, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.
