WWE Power 25
Each week in the WWE, the wrestlers are ranked according to the matches they play, the quality of the opponents they compete against, momentum and their in-ring dominance. 25 superstars are listed every Saturday in the Power 25
rankings by the WWE. The superstars in the Power 25 are from the entire WWE. This week the player on top of that Power 25 list was The Miz. He retained his position from last week by remaining the most dominant of all the superstars in the WWE.
The Miz defeated the hall of famer Jerry the King Lawler in a title defense match. This was his first title defense match after he claimed his first ever WWE title beating Randy Orton. Due to his dominance in the match, he retained
his number one spot. The second spot was retained by The Edge who defeated Kane in an impressive fight. He would compete against Kane in the coming Pay-Per-View again. Last week’s number nine Sheamus jumped to number three this week after being victorious
in the King of the ring tournament. The master of the 619, Rey Mysterio dominated Alberto Delrio costing him an opportunity to become king of the Ring. This performance helped him to jump from No.10 to No. 4. Kane completes the top five after losing two spots
due to a defeat at the hands of The Edge.
Randy Orton after suffering at the hands of The Miz and the Nexus lost two spots to number six. Alberto Delrio also suffered a one spot decline in his ranking suffering at the hands of Rey Mysterio. The Big Show didn’t appear this
week on Smack Down and the largest athlete in the world suffered a loss from being in the top five last week and ending up at eighth this week. Due to sufferings at the hand of John Cena, Nexus ended up at number nine losing two spots. Completing the top ten
this week was Dolph Ziggler who won a tag team match and gained one spot.
Daniel Bryan lost three places due to a loss against Alberto Delrio and ended up outside the top ten. Even though Cody Rhodes lost his match on Raw, he retained his 12th spot. Winning the number one contenders match
for the Intercontinental Championship, Kofi Kingston moved one spot up at 13th. Taking a beating at the hands of Ezekiel Jackson, Drew Mcintyre lost the 13th spot and dropped to 14th. Scoring a victory for her team on Raw,
Natalya retained the 15th spot and proved to be the best amongst all the Divas.
John Morrison and Ezekiel Jackson failed to win the King of the Ring tournament but retained their spots at 16th and 17th respectively. Dominating team Lay-Cool and Beth Phoenix moved up two spots and ended
up in 18th this week. Jack Swagger having lost his match to Kofi Kingston lost one spot and ranked 19th. Layla’s win over Rosa helped team Lay-Cool end up in the top 20 of Power 25.
The team of Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov lost two spots after no match this week. Kaitlyn won the WWE NXT season three and jumped in the Power 25 with the 22nd spot. Mark Henry won a non-title Tag Team match improving
two spots and ending up 23rd overall. David Hart Smith and the Bella twins secured wins to jump in the Power 25 this week to complete the 25 spots.
