WWE Professional Wrestling Rankings till July 26, 2010 – 11th to 16th position
As the professional wrestling world prepares itself for the upcoming historic Pay per View called the Sumer Slam, given below are the rankings.
Kane on 1st, Sheamus on 2nd, Randy Orton on 3rd, The Miz on 4th, Rey Mysterio on 5th, John Cena on 6th, Big Show on 7th, Nexus on 8th, Kofi Kingston on 9th, Edge on 10th, Hart Dynasty on 11th, Alicia Fox on 12th, Jack Swagger on 13th, Team Lay – Cool on 14th and Dolph Ziggler on 15th position this week.
The impressive Evan Bourne is on a major losing streak this week, as he lands on the 16th position in the professional wrestling rankings. Evan Bourne was a favourite before the start of the Money in the Bank, Ladder Match but he stopped short of retrieving the prestigious briefcase, which contained the contract for a guaranteed title shot at the WWE Champion. However, during the match, Evan Bourne succeeded in taking revenge from Randy Orton, as Evan Bourne rolled in the air and executed a devastating Air Bourne on the apex predator of WWE. Evan Bourne also lost a major match against the WWE Champion, Sheamus on Monday Night RAW.
Next in line is the former Inter Continental Champion and the Scottish wrestling superstar, Drew McIntyre, who is on the 17th position this week. Drew McIntyre was out of action during most of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match as Kofi Kingston executed a leg drop from the top of the ladder on Drew McIntyre and broke through the Spanish announcers table. Drew McIntyre scored a major win when he teamed up with Dashing Cody Rhodes to fight against the tag team of Christian and Matt Hardy. The match ended when Drew McIntyre banged the head of Christian on the ring floor.
The professional wrestling ranking of Chris Jericho has been vacillating from the past few weeks, as Chris Jericho is currently on the 18th position. Chris Jericho suffered some major defeats this week. Chris Jericho suffered his first defeat when he participated in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and failed to retrieve the briefcase. Chris Jericho then gained another chance to cement his credibility as he participated in a triple threat match featuring himself, Edge and Randy Orton. That match was fought to determine the number one contender for the WWE Championship at Summer Slam. That match ended when Chris Jericho received a devastating R. K. O from Randy Orton. Chris Jericho was then encircled by the Nexus group members in the ring, who kicked every part of his body. Chris Jericho will have a chance to take some revenge when he will fight in a mega tag team match against Nexus as a part of John Cena’s team at Summer Slam.
It is the Captain Charisma, Christian who is on the 19th position in the professional wrestling rankings. Christian showed some great in ring performance during the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, was just felt short of retrieving the briefcase which contained a contract of a life time. Christian suffered another defeat, when he teamed up with Matt Hardy to fight against the tag team of Dashing Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. However, Christian and Matt Hardy lost the match but Christian executed some stylish missile drop kicks, vertical drop kicks and base ball drives during the match.
Dashing Cody Rhodes has come out of nowhere and occupied the 20th position in the professional wrestling rankings. Dashing Cody Rhodes suffered a defeat when he failed to retrieve the brief case at the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Dashing Cody Rhodes defeated the team of Christian and Matt Hardy after delivering some hard core blows. Dashing Cody Rhodes also picked up a victory on NXT, after he teamed up with his rookie, Husky Harris to fight the tag team of MVP and Show Time Percy Watson.
