WWE Professional Wrestling Rankings till July 26, 2010 – 1st to 4th position
The Professional Wrestling World went from a major overhaul last week as wrestlers clashed against each other in various matches on Money in the Bank, Pay per View, Monday Night RAW, NXT, WWE Superstars and Friday Night Smack Down. Some wrestlers received injuries and others were able to gain unprecedented fame and glory.
After last week it is the big red monster, Kane who has jumped from his 8th position to land on the 1st position in professional wrestling rankings. Kane shook the wrestling world when he won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match from the Smack Down roster. Kane decimated many wrestlers during the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. However during the match, Kane made the greatest impact when he grabbed the current Inter Continental Champion, Kofi Kingston by his throat and choke slammed him on the steel ladders.
The rampage of Kane did not end as he climbed the ladder and retrieved the prestigious briefcase containing the contract of a guaranteed title opportunity. Kane went on to interfere in the match for the World Heavy Weight Championship. Kane continued his carnage as he choke slammed Rey Mysterio and then delivered a vicious Tomb Stone Pile Driver. Kane cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and pinned Rey Mysterio to become the new World Heavy Weight Champion. Kane will continue his carnage when he will clash with Rey Mysterio for the World Heavy Weight Championship at the Summer Slam, Pay per View.
The Celtic warrior, Sheamus has defied all odds and retained his WWE Championship to gain the 2nd position in the professional wrestling rankings. Nexus interfered in the brutal h**l in a Call, Steel Cage match at the Money in the Bank, Pay per View and indirectly helped Sheamus to retain his WWE Championship.
However Sheamus suffered a twist of fate last week as he fought a grueling match against the high flying Evan Bourne on Monday Night RAW. Though Sheamus won the match against Evan Bourne, he was attacked by The Miz who tried to cash in his contract for a guaranteed title match against the WWE Champion. It has been announced that Sheamus will clash with the viper Randy Orton at one of the oldest Pay per Views of professional wrestling called the Summer Slam.
The apex predator of WWE, the viper Randy Orton has seen a slight downfall of one point in his professional wrestling rankings as he is on the 3rd position this week. Randy Orton failed to capture the briefcase at the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. However Randy Orton created a huge impact in the same ladder match as he executed R. K.O's on different wrestlers.
Randy Orton received his chance to impress the professional wrestling world on Monday Night RAW when he clashed with the Rated R superstar, “Edge” and “Chris Jericho” to determine the number one contender for the WWE Championship. Randy Orton won the match after executing R. K.O's on both Chris Jericho and Edge.
The current United Sates Champion, The Miz has never been been more dangerous as he has improved his ranking to receive the 4th position this week. The Miz defeated 7 other famous wrestling superstars to grab the briefcase in the Money in the Bank, Ladder Match. It was a tough match as flesh collided with steel. Almost every wrestling superstar was wearing bandages on different parts of their bodies after the ladder match.
The Miz tried to cash in his Money in the Bank contract when he attacked the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus from behind and hit the back of his head with the briefcase. Miz’s plans were foiled when R – Truth interfered and stopped the Miz from cashing in his contract. Sheamus would have to be extra careful in the coming weeks as Miz could attack him anywhere any time.
