WWE Update: Issues boiling up ahead of Survivor Series at Smack Down
With just a couple of days away from one of the biggest pay per view of the year Survivor Series, every Smack Down superstar appeared all geared up for the main event. WWE Smack Down’s sparkling episode at Richmond, Virginia was enlightened with a glorious
win by Team Mysterio over one of his worst foe Alberto Del Rio’s team and later by Edge’s vicious abduction of World Heavyweight Champion Kane’s father, Paul Bearer.
Matters continue to worsen between the two rivals from the same origin as the team of Rey Mysterio took on team of Alberto Del Rio in a 10 man Survivor Series Battle Royal Show Down match. With the World’s Largest Athlete, The Big Show in Mysterio’s corner,
affairs seemed to go perfectly for the little master whose force looked in total control of the match. One after the other, superstars got eliminated after been thrown over the ropes to the mat. It was the All American American, Jack Swagger who was pushed
over the ropes by the Big Show following 619 by Rey Mysterio to secure the win for his side. Mysterio has clearly given a red signal to Del Rio and his team members who meet up again at Survivor Series, of what possibly might happen at Sunday’s night.
In another showdown match for Survivor Series Big Show defeated the muscular Tyler Reks comfortably after knocking him down with a thunderous chokeslam to which Reks could not resist countering out. Next up it was The All American American, Jack Swagger
who decided to take on hefty Chris Masters in singles action. Masters showed great enthusiasm and immunity to have locked Swagger in Master Lock but luckily, Swagger found a way out and rather made Master tap out to an ankle lock, thus registering yet another
win under his belt.
After Rey Mysterio’s men brutally crushed the opponent’s team of Del Rio, the two captains faced head to head at a one on one match to gear up for their Survivor Series match. The battle however ended in a No Contest when Del Rio’s army rushed in to the
centre to assault Rey. Their action was cut short by members of Rey Mysterio’s team who came in abruptly for aiding their captain and knocking out the adversary.
Backstage, Edge was shown crucifying Paul Bearer by tying him with ropes over a wheelchair. He continued torturing him mentally, meanwhile only to add more to his frustration, a raged Kane entered Smack Down General Manager, Theodore Long’s locker room,
screaming where his father was. The rated R superstar is surely high on heels against the World Heavyweight Champion, when the two meet for the title shot this Sunday at Survivor Series.
Lay-Cool finally managed to get a win over WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart’s niece Natalya by delivering a double kick to the canvas and securing the win. Natalya is now on for a daunting task as she meets Michelle McCool and Layla on a 2-on-1 handicap match
at Survivor Series.
Young and athletic Kaval was shown standing in the ring with his footage been aired showing that his internet fans rate him as one of the coolest contestant ever. His promo was interrupted by Dolph Ziggler, who was there to prove it wrong. Little did Ziggler
know that he was there for one of the biggest upset of his career when Kaval nailed with old-school bridge to get the win. After the match, a pumped up Kaval told the Intercontinental Champion that he is the WWE NXT Season 2 winner and would like to face Dolph
Ziggler for the title shot at Survivor Series. Drew McIntyre was the next superstar lined up for yet another upset for the night when he lost his match against MVP of team Mysterio.
Survivor Series surely promises to be a night full of rage, frenzy and anger with every match foreboding thrilling and exciting action. Only time will tell which superstar would gain the upper hand and reach the glory at Miami this Sunday night.
