WWE Update: Kane to defend his World Heavyweight title against Edge at Survivor Series
At the next pay-per-view event Survivor Series, the World Heavyweight champion Kane has to defend his title against the Rated R Superstar Edge. The Ultimate opportunist Edge hopes to claim the gold once again but this time, it is not going to be easy.
With Paul Bearer on his side, Kane is now stronger than ever and it seems that he is virtually unbeatable. Survivor Series is the second-longest running pay-per-view after Wrestlemania and it seems that Survivor Series is going to be epic this year. Edge
captured the Number 1 contender’s spot by winning the triple threat match against Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio this past week on SmackDown.
Kane has proved that he is the “Devil’s Favourite Demon” as he dominated the matches against his brother The Undertaker at both No Holds Barred and h**l in a Cell Matches before finally getting rid of his brother for the last time by burying him alive at
WWE Bragging Rights. After taking out his brother The Phenom, The Undertaker, Kane has proved that no one can beat him and with Paul Bearer on his side, Kane is imposing his full “power” of the underworld on anyone who comes between him and his title.
However, as we all know that anything is possible in the WWE and Edge just might be able to take out the big red monster Kane. At Bragging Rights, just as Kane was able to take his brother the Deadman to his demise, the Rated R Superstar helped his team
SmackDown win the 7-on-7 Tag Team Elimination match against team Raw for a second year in a row.
Moreover, the nine-time World Champion Edge is aware of what Kane is capable of as he has faced the forces of the dark side before and knows how to deal with them. Edge won two of his World Titles against Kane’s brother The Undertaker after cashing in his
money in the bank back in 2007. Later on, Edge won a brutal Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match (TLC) at the pay-per-view event One Night Stand to steal the title from the Phenom for a second time in 2008.
Since the ultimate opportunist is aware of the mind games Kane is capable of playing, he will try to counter and give the Big Red Monster a taste of his own medicine before their match on November 21st and take the mental advantage over Kane to
increase his chances of winning the gold for a tenth time.
Edge was recently moved back to SmackDown as he was a part of the Raw roster but decided to return back to the show he has been performing for since a long time. This might cause some problems for the Rated R Superstar since he has not been around on SmackDown
since a long time and is not aware of the current situation of SmackDown.
Kane currently has an advantage over him and it seems that Edge needs some to time to plant his grounds on the show once again. The Big Red Machine has been dominating the show in every way and there is no stopping him unless someone like Edge steps up and
tortures the Big Red Machine in a way no one has ever done before.
Edge seems more determined than ever after returning to SmackDown and it seems that he cares about nothing less than the grand prize in the business. Kane has been the World Heavyweight champion for over 3 months now but defending the title against the Rated
R Superstar is not going to be as easy as it looks. It would be interesting to see what the two beasts plot against each other before Survivor Series in order to gain a vital mental advantage.
