WWE announces first match for WWE pay-per-view event Money in the Bank
Just one day after 'Capitol Punishment', the first match is announced for WWE pay-per-view segment 'Money in the Bank' by WWE. The announcement was made during Monday Night Raw tonight in a match.
The WWE Championship match is to contested between the Number One Contender, CM Punk and The WWE Champion, John Cena. CM Punk became the Number One contender by defeating Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio in a triple threat 'Falls Count Anywhere Match'. Moreover
CM Punk also announced that he would be leaving WWE as his contract would be expiring on July 17, 2011.
When Monday Night Raw show started, CM Punk came out into the ring. He stated that WWE Universe was always making wrong decisions about him. He insulted WWE Universe and said that he had beaten Rey Mysterio at 'Capitol Punishment' and now he wanted the be
Number One Contender for the WWE title. Punk said that he would not be leaving the ring until he was not made the number one contender.
The Anonymous Raw General Manager sent an email that he insulted WWE Universe and Raw GM. So he should payback for it. The Raw GM stated in the email that Punk should leave the ring and later on, he would decide that whether Punk should be number one contender
or not. Punk did not leave the ring and kept on sitting in the middle of the ring.
The Raw GM sent another email and set the number one contender match between CM punk and Alberto Del Rio. Later on, Mysterio was also included in the fight and match was named 'Falls Counts Anywhere Match'.
Punk took the victory and became the number one contender for WWE Championship against John Cena at 'Money in the Bank'. After the fight, Punk explained that his contract would be expiring on July 17 and 'Money in the Bank' would also take place on July
17. So he would be leaving WWE as a WWE Champion. He said that he would not only defeat Cena, but also would be leaving WWE as a Champion.
