WWE diva Maryse Ouellet reveals her future plans – Wrestling news
French-Canadian glamour model and wrestler, Maryse Ouellet revealed to TVA Sports her future plans saying she is coming up with her own line of apparel and accessories.
She further revealed that an organisation offered her a long-term contract for which she made an exit from the World Wrestling Entertainment.
Maryse, who earned enormous fame during her stay in WWE 2006 to 2011, said she wanted to move on in life and wanted to get into something she is passionate about such as the clothing business. When asked about leaving WWE, the co-host of NXT remarked, “They
wanted me to sign a new five-year contract and it's not what I wanted. I had other plans in mind.”
Currently, the glam-girl plans to launch her own line of clothing and accessories by the name of ‘House of Maryse.’ On this, she stated, “Love fashion, I love trends. I propose to women swimwear, lingerie, jewelry, handbags and sunglasses, among others.
I hope to officially start the project next summer.”
Maryse came into the limelight when she won the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada beauty pageant contest.
In 2004, she acquired the second position in the International Finals of Miss Hawaiian Tropic. Later on, in 2006, Maryse was auditioned for WWE’s Diva Search. She was eliminated on July 24, on the Raw show of WWE as the second contestant to be dismissed.
However, even though she was ruled out, she was invited to the training facility of WWE’s developmental territory in Ohio Wrestling Valley. According to her, it was her dream come true to become a WWE diva.
During her WWE career, Maryse made several television appearances and played parts in several music videos. Born in Montreal but brought up in New Brunswick, the French-Canadian beauty thinks her life has been the best. She started her own line of makeup
products on a small scale during her school days. Currently, she holds a Business Administration degree and martial arts’ black belt.
The former WWE diva is excited to launch her own product line and wishes to take it to the acme of success. With her business skills and her astounding personality, she wants to leave an impact on the fashion industry.
