WWE making its way to Abu Dhabi – Wrestling news
For the first time in history, WWE will be making its way to Abu Dhabi.
WWE will visit Zayed Sports City as part of its RAW 9-11 February World Tour.
This will be the first time WWE will be hitting Abu Dhabi after realising the high demand it has there. It will be a three-night show with most of the prevailing WWE superstars igniting the ring with their h**l-raising moves and their jaw-dropping yaps.
General Manager of the Zayed City Patrick Talty remarked, “WWE is the biggest name in family entertainment today,” showing his excitement towards the tour.
According to sources, WWE has a high demand in the UAE and his tour will prove to be one of the most rewarding ones from a business perspective.
In the recent years, the WWE has become the rage among kids, teenagers and wrestling fans. For some, the show has dropped its quality but for most of the fans it’s still as exciting as it was back in the 90s. Recently it was reported that WWE is going through
a sore patch, but with its unmatchable demand and its high viewership, nobody can say that WWE has lost its charm.
Not only the shows, the WWE earns over $1 billion worldwide annually. Of course, with such numbers reporting in, nobody can deny the fact that WWE is indeed one of the most watched sports entertainment show in the world.
Superstars who will be going for the Abu Dhabi tour include John Cena, CM Punk, Kane, Dolph Ziggler, and The Miz. These are the major superstars who will be headlining the event while there will be others too. John Cena is the most popular figure among all
especially among teenagers and kids.
In a city like Abu Dhabi, John Cena’s appearance will rock the arena. During RAW’s last tour to India, John Cena and Triple H were two superstars who were warmly welcomed by the Indians. This shows how much demand Cena has internationally. The people of
Abu Dhabi, especially fans of WWE, now have a reason to smile since their favourite show is now coming to hit their hometown.
