WWE puts the Ultimate Underdog Rey Mysterio on third spot in Power 25 list - WWE News
The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has updated the Power 25 list for July 23, as The Master of 619 Rey Mysterio reigned supreme by getting the third spot in the list. The Ultimate Underdog made the amazing jump during last two weeks.
Rey Mysterio made the upward jump from 14th position to seventh position. He was given that place because he managed to win the table of eight and table of four matches during Monday Night Raw on July 18. The Master of 619, Mysterio qualified
for the World Championship match against The Miz by defeating two participants. The fight was to take place in the next Monday Night Raw segment. Due to qualifying for the WWE Championship match, The Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science decided to place The
Master of 619 on seventh place from 14th spot.
On next Monday Night Raw segment on July 25, The Ultimate Underdog defeated the The Miz and clutched the WWE Championship. It was the amazing victory by Mysterio. The first time in the history, Mysterio became the WWE Champion but could not defend it for
the single day. The Game, Triple H addressed WWE Universe as a new Chief Operating Officer in the same segment. He announced another WWE Championship match that was to be taken place between the former champion, John Cena and newly-crowned WWE Champion, Mysterio.
The fight was decided on the willingness of Mysterio.
That fight was the main event at the end of the Monday Night Raw segment. Unfortunately, the newly-minted champion, Mysterio lost his title to the former champion again. The Champ, John Cena won the title after hitting the attitude adjustment for the three-count
victory. Although, the Master of 619 lost the belt on the same night but still his championship victory cannot be denied. The AWAS put the Ultimate Underdog on the third spot from seventh due to his tremendous performance during Monday Night Raw segment. The
WWE Champion, Cena retained his top place once again with the WWE Championship victory.
