WWE’s Cenation chief John Cena to green signal 54th annual Daytona 500 sprint – Wrestling news
John Cena, the cenation leader and the propagator of the motto hustle, loyalty, and respect, despite being put in an ambulance clash with Kane in the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view does not seem to be intimidated, since Cena will wave the green flag to
kick off the 54th annual Daytona 500 NASCAR event on February 26, 2012.
John Cena and Kane, for the last three to five weeks, are tangled in a ruthless and horrific scenario and series of events in which Kane is pressurising the Cenation commander in chief to accept hate at its fullest. Kane had even choke-slammed his best friend
Zack Ryder and is found terrorising Zack’s friend Eve in order to provoke Cena to absorb hate.
All these aspects are not halting the ‘always smiling’ John to enjoy and participate in other events. It is this reason why despite of being thrown in an ambulance bout with Kane, Cena on the arrival and invitation of his NASCAR friend Carl Edwards, graciously
accepted to come to the event and become the honorary green flag waver at the start of the race.
Carl Edward, the runner up of 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stepped out of his official 99 numbered Fastenal Ford and said, "I am honored to come here on behalf of NASCAR and everyone at the Daytona 500 to invite you, John Cena, to be the honorary starter,
to wave the green flag for the 54th running of the Daytona 500 on February 26," Edwards said after stepping out of his official No. 99.
Cena who is always full of energy and enthusiasm replied, "Yes, I'll definitely be there."
On the other hand, Joie Chitwood III, President Daytona International Speedway also shared his sheer happiness at the prestigious participation of John Cena. Joie while praising John Cena said that he is the greatest WWE brawler in the entire pro wrestling
and said that he is looking forward to his presence at the Daytona International Speedway.
Cena, apart from his pro wrestling life had been involved in a series of different aspects. He has played the lead role in the movie ‘The Marine’. In addition, he has also been a profitable source of selling various corporative products by acting in their
advertisements.
Daytona 500 follows this trend and calls on different famous individuals who have achieved much respect and are fan favourites, to start the sprint. Past honorary starters include names such as Ashton Kutcher, Whoopi Goldberg, Mariah Carey and others.
