    The only one I heard of was World War I veteran Dorothy Kohlars from Oceanside, California. That was in 1999 and she was 104 then.

    France awarded the French National Order of the Legion of Honor to Dorothy in gratitude for her valor on French soil during "The War to End All Wars".

  2. Not many, if any at all.

    WWI was 1914-18 if I'm not mistaken.

    That means the nurse would have to be 90-100+ years old.
