up until a few years ago i thought i knew it all. i thought i'd seen it all. when really in reality the worse was yet to come. that's when someone showed up at my door step and pulled me out of the perfect little world i was dreamn' in.

chorus: i guess i thought skys were always filled w/ rainbows and the grass was greener on the other side. now for the first time i'm seeing gray skys, bloody faces, and trenches being dug. i've seen the bad, now tell me where has the good run off to?

It use to seem when i was in a sticky situation i could always find a bright side to everything. now i can't even find a silver lining in the sky. chorus repeat

loud noises are making my ears pop. i wake up in the middle of the night to whispers. i use to go to bed with the one i loved, now i hold on to the one thing i count on. chorus repeat

and i wake up in the morning just to experience it all over again.

it could go and be REALLY good. it kinda reminds me of kelley clarksons bc of you, so it sounds kinda slower. NICE.
