Once I met a guy at a Waffle House and he said he ate so many breakfasts there or something that he got unlimited breakfast for life or something. Does anyone know what he was talking about? Is there any information available on this? Please let me know.

  1. Several restaurants do this.  I was a chef at a restaurant in NYC several years ago and we had a customer who ate there every evening.  After 3 years, the owner gave him dinner for life (up to $100/night).

It happens, it isn't advertised, and it isn't something you are likely to get by asking about it.

I've heard similar things happening at an Olive Garden in Southern California, a TGIFs in the Dallas area, etc.  Some restaurant manager/owners will do that for loyal customers.

To the first poster, if ONE customer provides a significant amount of revenue, chances are the restaurant isn't doing that well.

The restaurant I worked in in NYC, pulled in $70-$80K a night (average entree was $60-$80).....$100/night to one customer for life is nothing.  For chain restaurants, it would be even less of an impact.

  2. It kind of sounds like he was trying to crack a lame joke.

Only way I can see this would be possible is if he won a contest or something.

Otherwise, why would they go and lose thier biggest customer?? Think of all the revenue they'd be losing from him if he ate there that often.

  3. dude no such deal ! you just got punked ! butcher.....
