Plz breaak it down from me with out laughing. It don't make sense to me.

I work there now, I just started last night. The order just doesn't make sense to me. I don't have the book yet that I am supposed to get. The paper with abbrevation on it throws me off when i look at the menu you.

  1. drop 2 means two orders of hasbrowns, but to make one a double would make 1 order the size of two and the other order would be the size of 1.  So even though there are only two orders, ie. two plates that hashbrowns need to go on,  there are 3 servings.  1 serving on 1plate, 2 servings on the other plate.

To do this mathmatically: 1+1(2)= 3

  2. its pretty simple once you learn to understand it. It is alot for me to write here, so wait for the book. They break it up into sections and explain everything. The training manual tells EVERYTHING about working there (how to use the register, how to wash dishes, what side work is & how to do it, how to write and call orders, etc.) It is very thorough and will probably take you awhile to get through all of it. If you dont feel comfortable yet, talk to your manager about having someone help you learn all of this. It has been 2 years since I worked there (even though it is still embedded in my brain forever) so I dont want to give you any wrong info, but if you have a specific question, I will help as best I can

  3. Thanks, you have gotten me so d**n confused it is not even funny
