  1. With a Wagon +Drag you can drop the Trailor go into a Central City, How often do you see trailor from abroad parked  up? As regards reversing, on a bar they can be hard work  in comparison to the 5th Wheel coupling.

  2. I suppose  in some situations,  it can be a time saver

We have a truck that  drops off its  trailer  for us to  unload and repack

Meanwhile,  he is off to do a smaller  drop offs in the  local area

on his way back towards  home,  he collects his trailer

I guess this is whats its intended for

Maybe  road tax  and fuel savings ??

  3. wagon is preferred/ REMEMBER WHEN YOU TOW BEHIND YOUR TRICYCLE THE WAGON WAS EASIER!

  4. A wagon and drag is a class C (ie rigid) + a trailer, so yes is longer than an artic.  There are 2 types - close coupled which reverses like an artic, and A-frame which reverses like a caravan (as in opposite direction - lots of drivers hate them).

  5. I have worked on tight construction sites, where a Wagon + Drag could get in, but an artic couldn't!  It's marginal, but I can see that having a hinge in the middle of the load (where the trailer joins) would work better, as you are  avoiding a loooooong rigid flat-bed, that can't get around tight kerbside corners.
