Wahab Riaz gets an NOC to play County Cricket
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Wahab-Riaz-c95839 got Pakistan Cricket Board’s clearance to play English County Cricket this summer.
The 25-year old left-arm medium pacer from Lahore will play for Kent County Cricket Club (CCC) in the 2011 county season.
While talking to media reporters, Riaz said that the opportunity to play County Cricket will help him improve his game.
"It is a great opportunity for me to improve my bowling by playing in England for Kent", the left-arm pacer said.
The Club vs. Country debate is doing the rounds these days. When asked whether his county stint would affect his availability for national assignments, Riaz was quick to say: "Obviously I will be available on priority basis for Pakistan in its next international

Wahab not only got a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for county cricket, but he was also to play in the Sri Lanka Premier League (SLPL) starting in the second half of July this year.
The fast bowler, who entered the limelight for his five-wicket haul in the mouth-watering World Cup semi-final against arch-rivals http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 to play in the SLPL.
The Sri Lanka Premier League, featuring seven provincial teams, is scheduled to be hosted by the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo and will span two to three weeks. Riaz said that he will return to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 to play more county matches after featuring in the
SLPL.

A PCB official told the media that the board has given Wahab clearance to play County Cricket as well as in SLPL because the PCB wants its players to gain experience of playing in different conditions.
