Wahab Riaz, the Pakistani pacer, is keen to improve his batting and become a reliable all-rounder for Team Pakistan. The youngster is confident of his batting skills and feels that he can do well, both with the bat and the ball.
Currently playing for Kent, an English county team, Riaz claims that he has learnt a lot in the highly professional environment of County cricket and the veteran coaches have trained him to bat confidently.
He shared that he is working diligently in these days with a view to improve his batting and hopes that his struggle will pay off once he returns to his national team.
Talking to the media, Riaz said, “Definitely. In order to become an all-rounder, I feel I have the ability and can contribute with the bat. At this point though, I still need to focus a little bit more when batting and improve my concentration. I have been
working hard to improve.”
