What is my overall GPA? Do minuses bring it down? Count Honors and AP as 5.00s too.

  7. yes minus brings it down

  8. Yes...its more like a 92 rather than a 99.  average goes down.

  9. yes, -'s bring your gpa down, for example, if you get all A's you get a 4.0, if you get all A's, and one A-, you get a 3.9.

However, some schools will take into consideration if you are taking honor and AP classes, for example, if you take honors you get an extra point, and AP is two, so like if got all A's, and one A-, but it was in an honors class, and another kid got all A's, but had no honor classes, you would both have a 4.0, and if the class you got an A- in was an AP class, you would have a 4.1, so you would be better off than the other kid. However, that only counts when figuring valedictorian, or usually colleges do that to, but not always, so don't count on it.

I would average it for you normally, and counting the honors classes, but I don't know how, sorry.
