This article makes it sound like the Chinese are able to control their climate. Is this true? I didn't realize you can bomb the rain away..

  1. Only God can control the weather

  2. No they can't that's a bunch of BS.

They are just saying they did that to get the attention.

They never blew up any bomb

    Read the last paragraph...

"Scientists have viewed the technology as promising, but acknowledge that no method has been developed to objectively prove that such techniques work."

  3. Yes, they can but it takes an enormous amount of money, to do it with much certainty. There are some reasonably priced ways to make it rain a little for example. These methods have been used. Look up cloud seeding.

  4. yeah you can, but it's really expensive..

  5. well this is my personal opinion. Though i do learn about weather modification, but until now i still believe weather as a matter of nature always try to find it balance. when we modified "something" it will give another impact that might be unpredictable.

  6. No, they cannot control the climate.  First, they aren't even sure that it will work 100% of the time, or why it works, or if it's just some huge coincidence (read the whole article).  scientists are getting closer to making situations where rain is possible, but they are not just able to make storms (or make them go away) at whim.
