nd how is she gonna give them milk and stuff.AND I DID REASEARCH about the pregnancy. It seemed like i didnt know about it b/c i was very excited about that idea. And i dont want her to die(cause i had a pregnant g-pig and she died but i didnt even know it was a male cause i got her from a friend and she said it was a male I SWEAR I DIDNT KNOW>MY PARENTS THOUGTH SHE HAD GAS OR SOMETHING.I just guess she was too old to have babies*tear*i loved her/him so much)but i think my guinea would make it giving the birth to the little ones cause she is a very strong little girl.So i'm just asking if my guinea pig will adopt the babies that arent her?

I would seriously like her to have babies after her life ends i want to have something after her so it would remind me of her.

  1. my expirence with guinea pigs, NOT to even attempt trying to comvince the mother to care for babies...it depends on the pig though, some pigs will accept new pigs, others will fight....i wouldnt do that...althuogh...lots of times females get along or a female and a male...so you can have babies!!!! i'd  say if you have a female and you put another guinea pig in there it'll be fine but just remember with another one make sure there's plenty of water/food and enough room for the both of them...you no i would say get another female!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Lots of times females get along really good or a female and a male however adding a male with a male isn't a good idea because they will have territorial issues.  I'd say if you have a female and you put another guinea pig in there it'll be fine but just remember with another one make sure there's plenty of water/food and enough room for the both of them.  Also just for fun there are these treats I found at Petco and my guinea he just loved them they were like banana/strawberry treats and he would just naw on them all day...and they actually smelled really good!!!  LOL

  3. well i think that guinea pigs dont get milk when they want to they have to be pregnant to have milk so i think you should get a little older guinea pigs that could take care of themselves

  4. From my expirence with guinea pigs, I would say NOT to even attempt trying to comvince the mother to care for babies that are not her own. It depend on the pig though, some pigs will accept new pigs, others will fight. And you really don't want that. So just to keep it safe, I would say do not put baby guinea pigs in her cage if they are not hers.
